  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt sugar until golden, stirring constantly. Pour into a 9-inch round baking dish, tilting to coat bottom evenly.
  3. In a large bowl, beat eggs. Add sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla; mix until smooth. Strain into prepared baking dish.
  4. Place baking dish in a larger baking pan; add 1 inch of hot water to larger pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until center is just set.
  5. Remove from water bath; cool. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
  6. To unmold, run a knife around edges and invert onto a large rimmed serving platter.
  7. Serve slices with caramel sauce if desired. Enjoy!

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until smooth.
  4. Stir in mashed bananas until well blended.
  5. Gradually add flour mixture to banana mixture; stir until just moistened.
  6. If desired, fold in chopped nuts.
  7. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
  8. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack.
  9. Slice and serve. Enjoy!
